Guests visiting Bluewater this Christmas can enjoy much more than picking up a few gifts. The large retail venue will be presenting its winter wonderland this season with a whole host of family entertainment experiences – from Santa’s Grotto to a brand new outdoor ice rink.
Enter Bluewater’s spectacular log cabin style grotto and be greeted by Bubbles the Elf, who using a little magic to transform children into Santa’s helpers!
Kiddies will then journey with Bubbles through three magical experiences: Santa’s workshop where toys come to life; the chance to meet special guest Paddington Bear and search for the key to the special Grotto door; then meet the big man face to face and receive a special Christmas gift. Photos with Paddington and Santa will be taken by the team and these can be purchased upon leaving the Grotto.
This year Bluewater will be introducing their new outdoor ice rink, with a beautiful lake backdrop and a giant Christmas tree at its centre! Hot drinks and Christmas refreshments will be available to purchase from alpine-style cabins.
Bluewater will also be holding special events at the rink, as well as ice staking lessons for beginners.
On 10th November Bluewater will be holding its annual Christmas Light Night. Watch the Christmas lights switch on with special guests Paddington, Santa and Heart FM’s Toby Anstis.
Following the switch on there will be a firework display at 6.30pm. After the fireworks, head into the shopping centre shop to enjoy some late-night present buying or grab a bite to eat.
