EAT! Food Festival in Priory Park

Set in the beautiful sunken gardens of Priory Park. Attractions include producers, street food, demos, music, kids’ entertainment, art & games.

Cheese and Chilli Festival in Guildford

A great family day out celebrating all things cheese and chilli plus loads more.

Summer Family Festival at The Lightbox, Woking

The summer holidays are looking up – children and families have got lots of creative fun and activities to enjoy at The Lightbox this year, many of which are free! Following the success of the first Summer Family Fun Festival last year, the action-packed week returns to The Lightbox for the first week of the summer holidays. Activities are suitable for children aged 4+, but all ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Marvellous Festival, Wokingham

Marvellous in a two-day family music festival featuring a number of tribute acts from the Beetles and Coldplay to Abba and Queen. For children there will be a mix of charged and free actvities including dance and drama sessions, arts & crafts, face painting, a full circus, zorbing and fairground rides.
Cost: Adult day tickets £38, child day tickets £19, under 5s FREE. Full weekend and camping tickets available.

Day at the Beach Festival 2017, Chertsey

This July JB SKI in Chertsey will be holding their first ever Day at the Beach Family Festival! All the usual facilities at the venue will be open (like waterskiing and wakeboarding) and in addition there will be live music headlined by Rats in the Kitchen UB40 tribute act, food and drink stands, bouncy castles and kids’ activities, and a wake & surf demo area.
Cost: Family tickets (2 adults and unlimited kids) £5, single adults £10 per person. Free family entry is a member of the party books an activity.

Staycation Live 2017, Godalming

Staycation Live is now recognised as one of Surrey’s fastest growing music and arts festivals, with an ethos for showcasing a broad range of music, food and entertainment. It is guaranteed there will be a little bit of something for everyone.
Cost: £5 suggested donation per adult and kids go free.

Weyfest 2017, Tilford

Weyfest is a premium boutique-style festival which has been held in Tilford, Surrey in August each year since 2007. At Weyfest you will experience fine foods, wines, ales, ciders and lagers, cocktails and champagne bars – all at reasonable prices. There are plenty of posh CLEAN toilets that are topped up with supplies all weekend, a beautiful camp site with wonderful hot showers and great sound quality from the 4 stages, all set in 10 acres of stunning woodland of the Rural Life Centre museum – home to 40,000 fascinating artefacts of country life. There’s plenty to entertain all ages, quite apart from the fabulous music!

Woking Food and Drink Festival 2017

Named the county’s ‘Best Local Food Event’ by readers of Surrey Life magazine for two years in succession, the free-to-attend festival is set to dish up another three days of live cookery demonstrations served by Surrey’s top culinary talents and well-known celebrity chefs in the Tante Marie Culinary Academy Theatre, topped off by a bountiful platter of foodie treats for all the family.

Wildflowers at Hobbledown 2017

Hobbledown’s two-hour mini festival of sound and colour is returning for its third successive year this September. This powder paint throwing extravaganza (all non-toxic, of course) will also include a DJ, fun and games, giant bubbles, and a BBQ & bar. Bags of paint will be sold at small additional cost, but the other games are included in the price.
Cost: £15 adults and £13 children. Under 2s are free.
