Kidtropolis, the UK’s best children’s event is back this October half term and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Set to take place at ExCeL London from Monday 23rd October – Thursday 26th October 2017, Kidtropolis is a family event aimed at children aged 12 and under and their parents and guardians.

The immense programme is packed with live shows, popular children’s characters, exciting entertainment, big brands and a large number of activities.

Here’s a sample of what to expect at Kidtropolis 2017:

A huge range of brands will be bringing their games to the show, including Playmobil, Aquabeads, Bikertots Adventure Zone with Strider, and the official Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Wannabe YouTube stars can make their own videos with the Tubers Academy, and their will be demo classes from popular groups such as Diddi Dance, Ruggerbugs, the Creation Station and under 7’s language experts, Kidslingo.

Kidtropolis has also confirmed, KidsOut, the Fun & Happiness Charity, to be its official Charity partner for 2017. The KidsOut’s area will feature a life size ‘Jolly Roger’ ship from Peter Pan, the world’s largest pantomime. You’ll be able to  watch a show, walk the plank, and have fun with their animatronic crocodile!

Live Mini Shows

When booking tickets at this year’s Kidtropolis, families will have the chance to see two out of 15 LIVE mini shows being performed at the arena.

From London, the stunning street dance troop Flawless will be performing their renowned routines, as well as showcasing street dance talent from their school of dance, The Flawless Dance School.

There’s the naughty and quick-witted Basil Brush Show and the timeless Sooty, Peppa Pig’s story time, Marvin’s Magic Live show with the award-winning Michael J Fitch as seen on Channel 4’s brilliant “Freaky Magic”, the interactive mini musical Octonauts™ show, the Sylvanian Families special show and there’s massive bubbles, pies and science from Captain Calamity.

Much-loved family favourites, Postman Pat® and Jess the Cat will be bringing their Special Baking Service mini show to Kidtropolis, plus Fireman Sam will be celebrating his 30th anniversary on stage.

Comedian, entertainer and writer Julian Clary will be joining award-winning illustrator David Roberts at The Bolds, and children’s TV presenter Naomi Wilkinson is bringing her Wild and Scary Show to life. And the cast of the hit TV series, The Next Step will be joining Kidtropolis to perform. Some lucky fans will be whisked off for an exclusive meet and greet too!
